Obatzda - Bavarian beer garden dip (traditional method & Thermomix)
Description
Obatzda is one of the must-try specialities served in Bavarian beer gardens (Biergärten) and at Munich's Oktoberfest. This creamy dip made with creamy cheeses, onions and spices is served with large pretzels (Brezn) or black bread. Savoury and spicy thanks to paprika and cumin, it's the perfect accompaniment to a nice cold beer. Easy to prepare, it can be made by hand or with the Thermomix. Tip: For an even more authentic taste, prepare Obatzda a few hours in advance to allow the flavours to develop fully.
