«What if you were the one to extend the invitation?»
The friends we’d like to see more often may simply be waiting for someone to extend an invitation.
There’s no need to wait for a special occasion. Just being together is occasion enough.

Menu No. 14 – What if you were the one to send out the invitation?
Description
I regularly have friends round, but there was a small circle of very close friends whom I hadn’t managed to get together for several months.
So, I simply decided to bring them all together and sent out the invitation.
And as I know they love murder mysteries, I decided to organise a murder mystery evening.
So I needed a menu that would allow me to enjoy the evening with them: an aperitif to share in the living room, a hearty main course that cooks gently in the oven, and a dessert that could be prepared almost entirely in advance.
But there’s no need to organise a murder mystery. A Thursday evening, a Saturday, a few friends you’d like to see again… that’s all it takes.
The idea behind this menu isn’t, after all, to find an occasion to entertain. It’s to create one.
Have you been thinking for a long time that you should invite them? Go on, do it.
