Description

There's nothing like a nice bowl of hot porridge to start the day off right!
It's a nutritious and filling breakfast, perfect for keeping you going until lunchtime. In my house, it's become a staple, enjoyed by children and adults alike.
I have been a huge fan of porridge since my teenage years. Even our au pairs, who were sceptical at first, left with packets of oatmeal in their suitcases after trying it. .
The basic recipe is very simple, but the advantage of porridge is that everyone can personalise it with their favourite toppings: fresh fruit, nuts, honey, chocolate, or even a savoury version for those days when you need some comfort food.
