Antipasto Christmas wreath

Difficulty: easy Prep Time 15 min mins Total Time 15 mins
Servings: 10

Description

All the classic flavours of an antipasto in a pretty Christmas wreath: tomatoes, mozzarella, olives and salami on skewers, flavoured with a little vinaigrette and surrounded by sprigs of fresh rosemary. A spectacular aperitif, easy to make in advance, and always appreciated.

Instructions

  1. TRADITIONAL METHOD
    Preparation :
    1. Thread each bamboo skewer with :
1 cherry tomato, 1 olive, 1 cherry tomato, 1 ball of mozzarella, 1 slice of salami (folded in four).
(You can vary the order for a more natural look).
    2. Mix the olive oil with the balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
Pour or lightly brush the vinaigrette over the kebabs.
    3. Arrange the kebabs in a circle on a large round dish or wooden board, forming a crown.
    4. Slip sprigs of fresh rosemary between the skewers for a "fir tree foliage" effect. Serve immediately or keep chilled.
