Description

Meatless Monday or just fancy something quick and delicious? This pasta sauce, ready in just a few minutes, is a real gem of simplicity. It also goes perfectly with other dishes: courgette gratin, melanzane alla parmigiana (aubergine gratin)... or simply with your favourite pasta.

  1. TRADITIONAL METHOD
    Preparation - Traditional method
    1. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Cook the pasta according to the time indicated on the packet.
    2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a frying pan. Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer for 3 minutes.
    3. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into pieces and add to the sauce with the chopped basil. Simmer for a further 2 minutes.
    4. Season, then blend the sauce with an immersion blender until the desired texture is obtained.
    5. Drain the pasta, toss with the sauce, add the torn mozzarella, toss again and serve sprinkled with Parmesan.

    THERMOMIX® METHOD
    Preparation - Thermomix method
    1. Melt the butter in the bowl for 3 mins / 100°C / speed 1.
    2. Add the crushed tomatoes and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer for 6 mins / 110°C / speed 1.
    3. Add the basil and seasonings, then blend for 40 sec / speed 8.
    4. Cook the pasta in a pan of boiling salted water, drain and mix with the sauce.
    5. Add the mozzarella in pieces, mix and serve with the Parmesan.
