Gnocchi with cherry tomato, garlic and pecorino sauce

Description

Fragrant, colourful and quick to prepare, this cherry tomato and garlic sauce is perfect for enhancing your homemade or store-bought gnocchi. Grated pecorino and fresh basil add an irresistible Mediterranean touch. A must try!

  1. TRADITIONAL METHOD
    Preparation (traditional method)
    1. Finely chop the garlic.
    2. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
    3. Heat 2 tbsp. olive oil in a large frying pan. Melt the garlic for 1 to 2 minutes over a medium heat.
    4. Add the cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and simmer over a medium heat for 5 minutes, until tender but still whole.
    5. Add 600 g cooked gnocchi to the sauce. Pour in the remaining 2 tbsp oil, mix gently and reheat for 30 seconds.
    6. Sprinkle with chopped basil and grated pecorino. Serve immediately.
