Description

Even in winter, a fresh salad can be a real treat! This version combines the crunch of walnuts, the sweetness of pears and the tangy freshness of pomegranate. It's perfect as a side dish or main course, topped with blue cheese or slices of smoked duck breast, as you prefer.

  1. TRADITIONAL METHOD
    Preparation (traditional method)
    1. Wash and spin-dry the salad. Peel and slice the pears.
    2. Prepare the vinaigrette: in a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, honey and mustard. Gradually add the olive oil while emulsifying. Season with salt and pepper.
    3. Place the salad, pears, walnuts and pomegranate seeds in a large salad bowl.
    4. Drizzle with vinaigrette just before serving and toss gently.
