Ingredients:
Preparation:
Peel and cube the potatoes and celeriac.
Bring water or broth to a boil, add salt, and cook the vegetables for 20 minutes until tender.
Drain, reserving some of the cooking liquid.
Mash the potatoes & celeriac with a potato masher or pass through a potato ricer for a smoother texture.
Heat the milk, then stir it in with the butter until smooth and creamy.
Season with nutmeg and black pepper. If the mash is too thick, add a bit of the reserved cooking liquid.
Tip: For an ultra-smooth texture, pass the mash through a fine sieve.
