Dark chocolate Panna Cotta optionally with its orange compote (traditional & Thermomix)

Finely chop the chocolate.

Soak gelatine leaves in cold water.

Bring the cream and milk to the boil quickly and remove from the heat.

Stir in the sugar and chocolate. Blend this mixture with a hand blender for about 10 seconds.

Add the squeezed gelatine leaves to the hot liquid and stir.

Pour the panna cotta into glasses or small moulds that have been rinsed with cold water beforehand.

Once the panna cotta has cooled, place in the fridge.

Peel and fillet 4 oranges with a thin, sharp knife.
Collect the juice and squeeze the filleted orange and the remaining 2 oranges.

Dissolve the cornflour in 4 tbsp orange juice. Bring to the boil with the vanilla and orange juice. Add the honey.

Remove the maizena / orange juice mixture from the heat, add the orange fillets and leave to cool.

If you have used moulds for the panna cotta, quickly dip them in hot water to make them easier to turn out (run a thin knife along the edge).

Turn the panna cotta out onto a dessert plate and serve with the orange fillets. You can also decorate with just berries.

If desired, grate dark chocolate over the top as decoration.
