Here’s a brief example:
You have a recipe for a 20 cm diameter cake tin, and you want to cook it in a 26 cm cake tin. According to the table, all ingredients must be multiplied by the value 1.69, marked in the table. The result is 50g of sugar x 1.69 x 85g of sugar.
The decimal place can just be rounded. For eggs, I recommend rounding to the higher number. So if you need 3.5 eggs, I’d take 4 for example.
Here’s a brief example:
You have a recipe for a round cake tin of 22 cm in diameter and you want to bake this in a rectangular cooking frame. Depending on the conversion table, you can use a rectangular cooking frame of size 24 x 16 (red number). As also shown in the conversion table, it is also possible to cook the recipe for the 22 cm cake tin in a rectangular cooking frame of size 18 x 21 cm 20 x 19 cm, 28 x 14 cm (numbers in green) Etc.
Or you have a cooking frame of 18 x 14 cm, which goes for a round cake tin of 18 cm in diameter (number in yellow).
Bon Appetit!
