Ingredients:
Preparation:
Beat the egg whites with the salt and add the caster sugar as soon as the whites are frothy.
Gradually add the icing sugar and vanilla sugar.
Pour the mixture into a piping bag and pipe rings (or roses - Wilton 2D tip - or other shapes) onto a baking tray covered with baking paper. If desired, sprinkle the rings with coloured pepites.
Bake in a preheated oven at 100°C for about 90 minutes.
After baking, let the Windringers cool in the closed oven.
TIP: If the Windringerls are used to decorate a Christmas tree, tie them with a silk or gold cord.
