Precise chocolate icing (Traditional & Thermomix)
One of my favorite chocolate glazes is this precise version, which envelops the cake smoothly and perfectly.

Ingredients:

Precise chocolate icing (Traditional & Thermomix)

Preparation:

I baked my marble cake in a silicone mold, and after baking I took it out and let it cool. In the meantime I have washed out the mold and dried it.

For this icing I prefer milk chocolate although normally I bake with dark chocolate.

(Thermomix settings below) For the glaze in traditional style, melt the chocolate in a water bath with the oil and then fill it into the silicone mold.

Spread the chocolate well throughout the silicone mold.

Put the cake back in the silicone mold, press lightly and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours if not overnight. Use a hair dryer to carefully pull the silicone mold off the cake. The chocolate glaze lies precisely around the cake.

Glaze in Thermomix

Put the chocolate in pieces in the bowl and chop for 12 seconds / setting 10. Use the spatula to detach the chocolate from the edge. Pour in the oil and melt for 3 minutes / 50 ° C / setting 2. Then continue as above.
