Liège Waffles (Traditional & Thermomix Methods)

Warm the milk and melt the butter in it. Let it cool slightly.

In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, eggs, vanilla, salt, and sugar. Add the milk-butter mixture.

Knead the dough by hand (10 min) or with a stand mixer (5–7 min) until smooth.

Fold in the pearl sugar.

Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes in a warm place.

Preheat the waffle iron. Divide the dough into 10 portions (about 120 g each) and bake until golden brown.
